Amazing unique experience

Um passeio deslumbrante, que apela aos 5 sentidos. Vêem-se todas as cores desde água verde esmeralda a azul turquesa e ao vermelho do ferro oxidado nas paredes das grutas. Uma enorme diversidade de vida animal, tipo National Geographic, com cardumes, gaivotas crias, gansos patolas em voos acrobáticos, e até várias borboletas. Vertente Naturals & Tour guide Leticia!
★★★★★ We had such an incredible experience with Vertente Natural, and a huge part of that was our amazing guide, Leticia! Leticia was knowledgeable, fun, energetic, and genuinely made us feel like we were spending the day with a friend rather than just taking a tour. She knew so much about the area and shared things about the history, nature, and surroundings that I never would have known otherwise. The views were absolutely amazing, and she made the experience even more memorable by taking us into a little cave. At one point, we even came across a jellyfish! Unfortunately, it was already dead, but Leticia picked it up out of the water and asked if we wanted to hold it — definitely one of those random moments you’ll remember from a trip! I would 100% do this again, and if you book with Vertente Natural, I would absolutely request Leticia as your guide. She was fantastic! I also want to mention Jessica, who picked us up. Even though it was a short ride to their shop, she was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The next time I come back, I’m definitely going for the next adventure — climbing the rocks and jumping into the water!😂 One quick tip: **BRING EUROS/CASH!** There is no ATM, and there’s a little coffee shop there that only accepts cash. And of course, you’ll want some cash for tipping your guides because they absolutely deserve it. Thank you, Vertente Natural, Leticia, and Jessica, for such a memorable experience! Dolphins Watching 10/10

Esperienza bellissima e assolutamente consigliata! Un modo perfetto per scoprire la splendida costa di Sesimbra e la riserva marina del Parque Natural da Arrábida, tra grotte, calette e spiagge nascoste, con anche una sosta per fare il bagno. Great tour company in Sesimbra
We took two trips with Vertente Natural during our holiday in Sesimbra and both were excellent. The first was a trek in the Arrábida Natural Park. This was really enjoyable. Our wonderful guide Cristiana tailored the trip to the conditions and our interests and we learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the park. We also took a dolphin watching trip, which was well organised and again had a great guide offering commentary in three languages. We saw the two different native dolphins, which was amazing. Fantastic day out
The whole experience was amazing, very well organised. Good facilities at the base and really helpful staff. We did a private boat tour with Leonor, she was an excellent guide to the region. Extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wildlife and the beautiful Arrabida coastline. She managed to get us to all the most beautiful spots before the crowds descended. Het was even zoeken, ook voor onze chauffeur want de locatie staat ergens anders aangegeven en dat was helaas bij een andere familie ook. buiten de prijs (125 voor 1 volw en 3 kinderen) heb ik er niets op aan te merken. het ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk door alle dames, de benodigdheden werden uitgelegd en omgedaan (safety first). de boot was klein en prettig. veel snelheid en kleinere groep. eerst een stuk de oceaan op. helaas geen dolfijnen daar. toen weer terug richting land (waren even portugal kwijt, die was niet meer te zien zo ver waren we). en toen we bijna bij land kwamen ineens een groep dolfijnen. uitleg gekregen over alle dorfijnen en de andere soorten die in dit gedeelte leefden. toen een stukje naar het land waar we een klein stukje cake kregen (was wel erg lekker) en de volwassenen een klein half bekertje wijn. toen weer terug naar de haven. de mensen weten veel, dat is te merken.

Not suitable for beginners or an adult kayaking with a young child
The tour guide was very friendly and the scenery was lovely, but I found this tour far too physically demanding for beginners. I was paired with my 9-year-old daughter, who tried her hardest to help, but the constant waves from speeding boats and kayaking in the sea were too much for her. She became frightened several times as we fell far behind the group and struggled to keep up. By the time we reached the wild beach, we were both exhausted. We therefore missed the caves and stayed on the beach while the rest of the group continued. On the return journey, we quickly began struggling again. Because of the intense exertion in the heat, I started to feel sick. We fell so far behind that the guide eventually waited and towed us for part of the journey, although it felt as though this was only offered once our delay began affecting the group’s return time. A support boat was mentioned during the briefing, but no support boat was offered or called, despite it being clear that we were struggling. This tour would probably be enjoyable for two capable adults who can share the workload. However, I do not believe it is suitable for a beginner adult paired with a young child. 4x4 tour

Coastering with the Family
Fantastic day out. Fabio and Francisco were professional, attentive, and great fun. If you have done canyoning this is one step beyond with knee trembling jumps. Don't worry. The guys will assist and support you throughout. Alternative jumps exist if you can't keep up with your kids! The surroundings are idyllic and the guides are full of local knowledge.
