Alla scoperta della costa di Sesimbra Esperienza bellissima e assolutamente consigliata! Un modo perfetto per scoprire la splendida costa di Sesimbra e la riserva marina del Parque Natural da Arrábida, tra grotte, calette e spiagge nascoste, con anche una sosta per fare il bagno. Great tour company in Sesimbra We took two trips with Vertente Natural during our holiday in Sesimbra and both were excellent. The first was a trek in the Arrábida Natural Park. This was really enjoyable. Our wonderful guide Cristiana tailored the trip to the conditions and our interests and we learned a lot about the flora and fauna of the park. We also took a dolphin watching trip, which was well organised and again had a great guide offering commentary in three languages. We saw the two different native dolphins, which was amazing. Fantastic day out The whole experience was amazing, very well organised. Good facilities at the base and really helpful staff. We did a private boat tour with Leonor, she was an excellent guide to the region. Extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wildlife and the beautiful Arrabida coastline. tour Het was even zoeken, ook voor onze chauffeur want de locatie staat ergens anders aangegeven en dat was helaas bij een andere familie ook. buiten de prijs (125 voor 1 volw en 3 kinderen) heb ik er niets op aan te merken. het ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk door alle dames, de benodigdheden werden uitgelegd en omgedaan (safety first). de boot was klein en prettig. veel snelheid en kleinere groep. eerst een stuk de oceaan op. helaas geen dolfijnen daar. toen weer terug richting land (waren even portugal kwijt, die was niet meer te zien zo ver waren we). en toen we bijna bij land kwamen ineens een groep dolfijnen. uitleg gekregen over alle dorfijnen en de andere soorten die in dit gedeelte leefden. toen een stukje naar het land waar we een klein stukje cake kregen (was wel erg lekker) en de volwassenen een klein half bekertje wijn. toen weer terug naar de haven. de mensen weten veel, dat is te merken.

Not suitable for beginners or an adult kayaking with a young child The tour guide was very friendly and the scenery was lovely, but I found this tour far too physically demanding for beginners. I was paired with my 9-year-old daughter, who tried her hardest to help, but the constant waves from speeding boats and kayaking in the sea were too much for her. She became frightened several times as we fell far behind the group and struggled to keep up. By the time we reached the wild beach, we were both exhausted. We therefore missed the caves and stayed on the beach while the rest of the group continued. On the return journey, we quickly began struggling again. Because of the intense exertion in the heat, I started to feel sick. We fell so far behind that the guide eventually waited and towed us for part of the journey, although it felt as though this was only offered once our delay began affecting the group’s return time. A support boat was mentioned during the briefing, but no support boat was offered or called, despite it being clear that we were struggling. This tour would probably be enjoyable for two capable adults who can share the workload. However, I do not believe it is suitable for a beginner adult paired with a young child. Although the guide was friendly, I did not feel that our safety and ability level were properly taken into account.

4x4 tour Christiana was our guide on the 4x4 tour, followed by a wine tasting. We had an amazing morning with her. She was very knowledgeable and explained everything perfectly. Coastering with the Family Fantastic day out. Fabio and Francisco were professional, attentive, and great fun. If you have done canyoning this is one step beyond with knee trembling jumps. Don't worry. The guys will assist and support you throughout. Alternative jumps exist if you can't keep up with your kids! The surroundings are idyllic and the guides are full of local knowledge. Great family boat trip We had a great trip today on the boat. We are family of 6, kids ranging from age 7 - 18. We got to see the caves, the ocean, the beaches and even take a dip in the ocean at the end. The guide, Marta, was very knowledgeable and really engaged the kids. She shared lost of cool stories and info (in English). It is a perfect little adventure if you want to tour the gorgeous coast. We went a 3pm. There is a morning trip which probably has calmer waters but our trip only had a few big waves. We would happily go again with this tour company!

11/10 Experience We had SO much fun! Our #1 outdoor activity in Portugal this summer. Jéssica was an AWESOME guide and her intern (Fabio?) made it really enjoyable! Definitely need to bring some upper body strength for this activity, but everything else is provided. Would recommend renting shoes and shorts from them as the cliffs tear up both.

Nice Tour Everything was organized well and the ride to the dolphins was very nice. On the ride back it was very nice that the crew provided a snack and a bit of wine. I would have given 5 stars except for the fact that I was waiting to be provided quite a lot about dolphins from a real “Marine Biologist” as per the title of the tour. We were only provided basic information and the crew were definitely not experts in marine biology. I was happy with all other details of the trip but my suggestion would be to change the title of the tour to accurately reflect the crew’s credentials and manage passenger expectations.

Kayak dans l’arrabida Excellente sortie de 3h le long des côtes jusqu’à la plage de cavallo avec monitrices compétentes et intéressantes faisant découvrir la géologie particulière de cette côte !
