The Arrábida Natural Park was created in 1976 to ensure the preservation of the local Flora, a natural heritage of international importance.
In addition to the high level of biodiversity, there are a few species of high conservation importance. There are two Arrábida endemisms which can only be seen on the cliffs between Sesimbra and Cabo Espichel, as well as several native species.
The Arrábida range rises above one of the most beautiful coastlines in Portugal and is the most charming natural area in the Lisbon region.
This half-day hike (about 7km) takes you on a journey through the harmony between the mountain and the sea, a journey through the wildlife, history and unique traditions of the region.
