A Via Ferrata is a route along rocky walls, equipped with steps, cables and spikes, designed to facilitate progression and optimize the safety of participants.

The “Caminho do Mar” is an equipped route that will allow participants to discover and explore the region's natural beauty in total safety and in perfect harmony with nature.

Come and enjoy a pleasant morning or afternoon along this imposing 100m high cliff with a breathtaking view over the crystal clear waters of the Prof.Luiz Saldanha Marine Park.

Recommendations:

You should bring:

comfortable and adequate footwear (we recommend running shoes with a good grip);

outdoors clothes (we recommend trousers, as the vegetation is rather thick and aggressive);

the location is prone to a wide range of temperatures, so we recommend several layers and a wind-stopper;

a small back-pack with a food supplement (ie: picnic lunch, fruit and cereal bar) and water (minimum 1 Litre);

we recommend the use of sports gloves;

in case of having long hair, bring something to hold it with;

avoid wearing rings, bracelets or necklaces.
